Rhythm of the Saints at CHS Field
Our drum and dance carnival, Rhythm of the Saints, will be jamming at the 4th street entrance to CHS Field in Lowertown for 90 minutes before Saint Paul Saints games on specific dates. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. We supply drums, guidance and snacks. The Saints provide us with 10 to 15 free tickets for each game we perform at, so let us know if you are planning to join us and we can put aside tickets for…

Find out more »Kirtan Path at the Nokomis Yoga Center
Marc Anderson will appear with Kirtan Path at the Nokomis Yoga Center on August 20th starting at 7 PM. Kirtan is a traditional call-and-response chanting meditation from India. The chants come from the Hindu tradition, but people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds participate in a kirtan. Kirtan participants experience the energy and vibrations of communal singing, connecting to the Divine and each other, opening hearts and quieting minds.

Each month M2 celebrates the communal experience and the ritual of tea as it is expressed in a variety of cultures. This month, we focus on tea and tea rituals from China. We’ll enjoy deliciously prepared snacks carefully chosen to accompany a well-selected variety of Chinese teas. We’ll share a few breaths, take in a poem and conversation, and we’ll end with a champagne toast.
